APPLIANCE DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION DRIVER

Marcs Appliance Warehouse is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. Join us as we continue to build our team of professional delivery drivers. Where you will be responsible for the proper and safe delivery, and installation of appliances to consumers’ homes.

Responsibilities:

• Drives delivery trucks safely to deliver appliances to consumer homes.
• Uses proper lifting and maneuvering techniques to load appliance orders both into, and, off of, assigned trucks.
• Installs appliances inside consumers homes properly and as directed.
• Cleans off the delivery truck as needed.
• Prepares delivery paperwork.
• Familiar with using our Jobber app to communicate between the office and the delivery team.
• Performs general warehouse duties as assigned and/or needed.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver.
• Valid professional driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good driving record with no traffic violations.
• Great Customer Service Skills.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Experience driving a box truck.

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior work related experience is helpful.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend Availability occasionally

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fixing appliances and providing excellent customer service. As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and more. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and effective repairs for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair various household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
• Order necessary parts and maintain inventory levels.
• Collect multiple forms of payments from customers.
• Communicate with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates on repair status.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of appliance repair techniques and tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized appliance repair training program.
• Previous experience working with a variety of appliance brands.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
